During Maths lessons we use a range of techniques, computer, manipulativemanipulative and paper based, to teach and allow for the consolidation of new skills. Our students practise until they are fully confident and able to apply their skills and knowledge to different types of mathematical and real life problems.
Building understanding develops confidence and students are keen to demonstrate their knowledge at school: ask questions with greater ease, also they are not afraid to investigate and make mistakes in order to get to the final answer.
