Assessment

Maths or English tutoring
Student’s journey at Redwood Scholars Centre usually starts with a Free Assessment. We discuss with the student and parent their concerns, where they think they need help.
 
We stress to the child and parent that the assessment is not a test but a guide as to where they are on their learning curve.  The assessment will reveal what level we should start the programme from and which areas, if any, require particular attention.  It takes between 30 and 40 minutes, parent/s are asked to stay on the premises during the assessment.  
 
Following the assessment, we provide verbal feedback to the student and parent and explain how we can help. Written assessment reports are not provided.
