Redwood Scholars Tuition acknowledge that in today's very competitive work environment, students need to show their level of knowledge in English and Maths to be at least grade 5 in order to secure an entry to majority of further education courses or jobs without a need to re-sit exams at a later date.
Whether your child is aiming at grade 5 or 9, we recommend that they start working with us on the GCSE curriculum in Year 10, which gives us enough time to close any knowledge and skills gaps diagnosed in the initial assessment and subsequently provide enough practice on GCSE type questions to ensure the best possible outcome of reaching or exceeding their target grade.
At the same time, don't despair if you decided to seek support when your child is already in Year 11 - as long as they are prepared to focus and work hard, there is nothing stopping them from achieving the best possible results within the time scale given. Our tutors will always do their utmost to prepare them well, boost their skills and confidence levels.
